A fabulous final for the 2002 edition

Once again the tournament ended at the last moments. This year the values' levelling in field was really marked. Tasblinda, Los Merenderos, Ringhio and Sailor Pub disputed the final victory till the last moment. These four teams, at the end of the 24 hours, found themselves together at the first place. In this way, in order to decide which one among them would have disputed the play-off for the final victory, we had to value only the results of the direct competritions, thanks to which Tasblinda (4th classified in the 2001 edition with the name of "San Damiano", edition also ended with a sprint) and Los Merenderos (3rd calssified in the last edition as "I Dopati") disputed the play-off.  A fabulous competition which gave the first placement to the Tasblinda team from Asti. Competion that ended at 6.30 p.m. after 25 hours and half of good volleyball with good technical and competitive qualities. For the third placement,  Ringhio won against the Sailor Pub team, that won the last two edition, thanks to the results of the direct competition. In this edition, we like to underline the fact that some players of "L'impronta" and of "I Pollovolisti" were disputing the tournament in 1993, and some of them won that edition and the others two next ones. Despite the deep evolution that this tournament has had in all these years, there is a continuity that wants to be the brick on which to build the next editions.
